Attached are a series of photos taken at a rally for legalization in Toronto, Canada. The rally was produced by Robbin Ellins of the now famous Toronto hemp store "The Friendly Stranger" and sponsored by N.O.R.M.L. Canada.
Some of the participants, numbering aproximately 400, met at Toronto's City Hall - Nathan Phillips Square. A parade was held extending approximately one mile to Queen's Park, located at the Ontario Parliamentary Buildings, at which time speakers, musicians, and hemp booths kept the crowd, which swelled to well over 1000, very entertained and informed regarding the benefits of marijuana law reform.
The photos are pretty well self explanatory.
In reference to the police officer, he must have felt very strange that day, to be leading a group of pro-cannabis activists through the streets of Toronto, actually protecting, rather than harassing or arresting.
He must have thought to himself, "Well if this isn't the damnedest assignment, I've has ever had".
